What is Eat. Think. Clean?
We are a virtual allied health clinic that bridges the gap between dietetics and psychology. We provide expert, compassionate care designed to help individuals transform their relationship with food and body from the comfort of their home.
What conditions or concerns do you support?
Our practitioners manage a range of conditions from diagnosed eating disorders, to "disordered eating" leading to overweight/obesity as well as chronic diseases such as cancer, cardiovascular disease and diabetes as well as individuals ust wanting to make healthier choices for longevity.

We provide services to people of all stages of life including pre conception, pre-natal and post-natal mothers to teenagers and adults.
Who are your services designed for?
We provide professional healthcare services for both adults and youth. Our clinical sanctuary is welcoming to anyone seeking an empathetic, evidence-based approach to food and health recovery.
Is a GP referral required for sessions?
You do not need a referral to book a consultation as a private patient. However, a valid GP referral is required if you wish to claim Medicare rebates under a Chronic Disease Management Plan, Mental Health Treatment Plan or a Eating Disorder Treatment Plan.Â
What makes your clinical approach unique?
By integrating psychological science with dietetics as well as being in an integrated plan, we address both the biological and behavioural aspects of health from any location within Australia. This person-centred approach ensures you receive clinical guidance that respects your individual experience.
Can I claim Medicare rebates or private insurance?
Yes. Many of our services are eligible for Medicare rebates under a Mental Health Care Plan or Chronic Disease Management Plan from your GP. Alternatively, most Australian private health insurers provide coverage for dietetics and psychology, depending on your level of cover.
How do I process the claim through Medicare or Private Health?
If you are claiming your appointments through your GP referred health care plan or chronic disease management plan, our administration team will process on the day. Same for private health care claims, this can be processed by our supportive team so all you need to do is attend your appointment.
How long do sessions typically run?
All initial appointments are 50 minutes long. Follow up consults for psychology run also for 50 minutes and dietitic appoinemtents are 25 minutes.
Bookings & Appointments

What is your cancellation policy?
We require a minimum of 48 hours' notice for all cancellations or reschedules. This policy respects our clinicians' time and allows us to offer the appointment to others on our waiting list. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice may incur the full session fee.
What should I prepare for my first session?
Please ensure you are in a quiet, private space with a stable internet connection. We suggest joining the virtual room 5 minutes early to test your audio and video. Any referral information to be emailed through prior to the consultation.
Can I book multi-session care plans?
Yes, we offer integrated care plans that combine dietetics and psychology sessions. Please visit our Pricing Plans section to choose a plan that supports your journey.
Integrated Payment Plans
1. How do I book an appointment?
Call reception to book the initial assessment appointments. Once you've had your assessment, you will book in your integrated monthly plan with your chosen physicians, both the dietitian and psychologist. From there, your appointments can be managed online for changes.
2. What if I need to reschedule?
You can call or do it online via our online booking software.
3. How do I pay through my plan?
The payments are direct debited fortnightly. The direct debit is a combination of the dietitian fee and psychologist fee.
4. What happens if I need to cancel or go on holidays?
Your payment plan can be cancelled or paused at anytime. If required, adhoc payments can be made on the day of the appointment during a holiday break or if your practitioner is away.
5. Do I have to do a payment plan?
The payment plan is apart of our consistant fee schedule for all of our patients. It can be changed or cancelled at anytime. It does however create an emcompasing approach with you apart of the team to create the best outcome for you and your long-term health.
Virtual Care & Online Sessions
How do online sessions work?
Our sessions are conducted via a secure, clinical-grade video platform. You will receive a unique link via email before your appointment—simply click to join from your web browser, with no software downloads required.
What technology do I need?
You need a device with a stable internet connection, a camera, and a microphone. A laptop or desktop is generally preferred for the best experience, but a tablet or smartphone also works well. We recommend using a private, quiet space.
Is my information private and confidential?
Confidentiality is a cornerstone of our practice. We use end-to-end encrypted telehealth platforms that comply with strict health data privacy standards. Your sessions are private, and your medical records are stored securely.
What if the internet connection drops?
Don’t worry—technical hitches happen. If the connection fails, your clinician will wait a few minutes for you to reconnect, and if that fails, they will call you on your provided phone number to continue the session or discuss next steps.
Do I need to be in Australia for sessions?
Yes. Due to professional insurance and registration requirements, clinicians are typically required to provide care to patients residing in Australia at the time of the consultation. This ensures we adhere to clinical standards and cross-border regulations.
