Biography

Dr Kellie Millard is a Clinical Academic Dietitian with extensive experience across hospital, research and private practice settings. She began her career in the Endocrinology Department at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital before joining the Clinical Dietetics Unit at Westmead Hospital. During this time, she was seconded to the Breast Cancer Institute to complete her PhD through the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Sydney, investigating the role of vitamin D in metabolic disease and cancer.

Following her PhD, Kellie completed a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship at the National Institute of Complementary Medicine at Western Sydney University. She was also a spokesperson for the Dietitians Association of Australia from 2012 to 2017, regularly contributing to television and print media.

Kellie has maintained a private practice throughout her career, supporting infants, children and adults. Her clinical interests include gastroenterology, weight management, diabetes, food allergies and intolerances, eating disorders, paediatric feeding disorders, neurodivergence, complex disability and enteral feeding.

Kellie provides practical, patient-centred care, helping clients make realistic dietary changes, achieve adequate nutritional status and develop sustainable habits that support long-term health and wellbeing.
