Biography
Mairead is a dedicated dietitian with a passion for translating nutrition science into practical, compassionate support for people at every stage of life. With experience across community health, disability and eating disorder support, she brings a grounded, person-centred approach to her practice. Â
Â
Her philosophy is simple: food should feel empowering, not overwhelming. Mairead works collaboratively with clients to understand their lived experience, goals and preferences, and uses this to create tailored strategies that are realistic, sustainable, and aligned with their wellbeing.
Â
She has a particular interest in chronic disease management, gastrointestinal health, neurodiversity-affirming nutrition care, and helping people rebuild a positive relationship with food.
Â
Whether supporting someone newly diagnosed, navigating complex health needs, or seeking clarity in a noisy nutrition world, Mairead offers evidence-based guidance delivered with warmth and respect.
Â
Mairead holds deep respect for clients navigating disordered eating, recognising these moments as some of the most vulnerable in a person's health journey.
